Ready or Not: Preparing for Wildfires
Grades K-6 | Emergency Preparedness
Ready or Not is performed by two actor-educators, who will lead your students through a hilarious, action-packed adventure, all while teaching about emergency preparedness.
When Dr. Ima Scientist’s disaster creation, Calamity Dwayne, escapes from her lab, Penelope Planner sets off to find him. Along the way, she learns about different disasters, family communication plans, emergency kits and the role of first responders.
With the help of a student volunteer, Penelope puts her new knowledge to the test and faces Calamity Dwayne. Are they prepared enough to stop him?
Along with the performance, students and teachers have access to an e-learning package featuring games, quizzes and classroom lesson plans that reinforce the standards-aligned educational content.
