Connect2Next:STEM Challenge will engage your students in grades 3-5 with a STEM challenge embedded within a story-based performance. The performance will feature two actor-educators playing multiple roles along with audience participation and interaction in a story that features Arizona specific connections. The purpose of the performance is to show how the three C’s of STEM – creativity, collaboration and critical thinking—are used to apply STEM disciplines to solve problems. Your students will be actively engaged in seeing how the problems presented through the narrative story are solved using the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and math and the application of creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. The performance will demonstrate STEM in action and encourage students to study STEM in the interest of solving local, regional and global problems.

Students and teachers will also have access to an e-learning package that includes games, quizzes and lesson plans for the classroom to reinforce concepts from the show.
