Conservation Café is a fun program that explores energy use and how we can all conserve electricity to preserve our planet’s future. The show incorporates student volunteers as they join a new coffee shop dedicated to making the planet a better place. The audience will meet the zany characters involved in this new venture as they learn about climate change, renewable resources, the ways energy is measured and what we can do to conserve energy.
Students and teachers will also have access to an e-learning package that includes games, quizzes and lesson plans for the classroom to reinforce concepts from the show. Additionally, Conservation Café challenges your staff and students’ families to save energy at home by providing Energy Kits that contain items to conserve electricity and water.
All NTC programs align with state educational standards, including science, social studies, financial literacy, and health standards, depending on your specific program.
