Conservation Cove
Grades K-5 | Water & Earth Science
Conservation Cove is a live, theatrical performance that teaches as it entertains, inspiring students to think about how their personal water-usage and everyday habits affect their community, and the world beyond. Two professional actors will visit your school, bringing everything they need to impress your students (and staff) with this unique educational experience. All you need to do is bring your students to the performance space, get them seated and let our performers do the rest.
There are two shows with differentiated content for your lower and upper grade levels:
Grades K-2
Our show for K-2 students features fun characters that appeal to younger students with plenty of opportunities for audience volunteers, and interaction with the performers. Basic information on water conservation, pollution and drought-related issues that affect California communities are presented in an engaging and kid-friendly way.
Grades 3-5
Our show for 3-5 students is presented in a structure similar to a program you might see at a science museum. Our performers use a more sophisticated, straightforward approach to present important water and Earth Science topics, but still engage your older students with an exciting performance with plenty of interaction and audience volunteer opportunities.

I have been a theatre mom for over 30 years. I thought the show was well put together, and the actors did a fantastic job. TJ’s accents for each character really made the show!

The program was outstanding. The information was relevant and absolutely important for our students to be knowledgeable about. It really lended itself to California history for fourth grade and keeping fifth graders reminded of the importance of water Conservancy. Thank you for your program. Both actors were amazing and I believe they were last year too. I enjoy them.
