This 40-minute video presents a virtual lesson in resource conservation for grades K-5. The show follows Nikki Nature, who is enjoying a relaxing day at the company picnic. U.R. Fired, the boss of the Eco-Guardians, has set up a quiz against a team of supervillains.

Nikki is going up against Dr. Maybe, an indecisive villain devoted to wasting water and energy. Determined to win the quiz, Nikki sets out to learn all she can about conservation. Your students join Nikki and her friends as they watch three scenes focusing on the following educational points:

Scene 1: What you can do to save and protect water

Scene 2: How to conserve and be safe around natural gas

Scene 3: Why recycling and waste reduction are important

The video provides intros and recaps to each section, allowing teachers to pause and reinforce the educational topics in the classroom. Additional info is provided about resources in your specific community.
