Energy Academy: The Power Squad is a 30-minute assembly about energy efficiency for students in grades 3-5. Two professional actors perform a series of three comedic and educational sketches on the topics of energy resources and conservation. Using audience suggestions, participation and improv the actors will take your students on three virtual field trips as they learn all about energy efficiency.

In the first sketch, sous chef Manny Cotty will enlist the help of your students as they work with the owner of Fluffy’s Spaghetti, Tara Misu, to learn how natural resources are used to generate electricity.

In the second sketch your students, and their favorite pet, learn all about renewable resources and how to conserve them.

Finally, in the third sketch, your students are off on a mission to Mars with Space Expert Ken Kapow to help an alien named Bile save energy, electricity and water all across the planet.

Students and teachers will also have access to an e-learning package that includes games, quizzes and lesson plans for the classroom to reinforce concepts from the show.
